Before Justin Timberlake's Future Sex/Love Sounds, before Helmut Lang's art à la deconstructed disco ball, was New Order's Retro.
Here they have an impressive library of album artwork designed by Mr. Peter Saville.

Noone really eats Chupa Chups in the states, huh? I used to love them as a kid in Korea. My favorite was the strawberry and cream duo.
I'm going to Seoul in 3 days. I haven't been to my home country in over 6 years, and my mom keeps warning me that I'll be a complete country bumpkin when I get there, lost in the whir of streets lined with intimidating highrises and fast-paced shoulder-bumping people. They don't even say, 'excuse me,' she says. I reply to her that I'll bump their shoulder back with a glare, and my mom ends this tiff with a simple comeback: You're so brittle, you're going to break into two even before you try. Thanks mom, I appreciate you raising me a strong woman you can believe in.

'Stead of flipping the bird, why don't we do the hand gun? I think I'm into it.
I like this campaign a lot because it's cinematic and the tomboyish attitude is so great. On top of that this girl reminds me of Anna Karina.

I like Daul K's new hair. We all love us some bizarrely unique Korean models! Speaking of bizarrely unique, I still want to shave my eyebrows ...

The Pearl Sisters, music from Korea in the 70s
Yesterday I went to China Town in Los Angeles for the Fuck Yeah! Fest. It was kind of a mess! The queue to pick up/purchase tickets were long, the lineup was, though great at times, kind of painful to bear in blocks of hours, and I got cold when the sun went down. So my friends and I left before we got to see any of the headliners we'd paid to see. Whatever, I'm so over festivals. We went and got some Pinkberry froyo instead. That stuff is so good. Yumyum in my tumz.

O HAI again Pretzel. I see that you're becoming quite the hot spot for the ladies.

I like photographs that photographers take of their children. They're so endearing, pure and innocent. XIV is a photo series by Haymes of his seven-year-old step-son. I guess it's a few years old, but I just found it online today.
You can look through Hayme's work via Bespoke Gallery's online archive here and here. He also has a book, Between Dog and Wolf, published by Nieves.

Since I haven't gotten a paycheck since mid February I am living a quiet and frugal life...kind of. Right now I'm shredding and tearing my old blue jeans. I've been working on it for about 3 hours while watching random youtube videos and bidding on a denim jacket on eBay. I also was perusing through the bookmarked eBay sellers' goods, when I came across this gem from luxNdesire clothing still on bid (I first found it in February while searching for Margiela airbrushed unicorn clutch, which has sadly been sold).
No further explanation necessary. I want it.
