Michel Polnareff - Love Me Please Love me
This is one of my most favorite chansons of all times. It feels funny to me to realize that I discovered it almost a decade ago, as a tween. Back then I stayed safe, insulated by popular contemporary music and musicians listened to by my friends and neighbors. But every now and then I'd find myself intrigued by rarities of the past and the unconventional. Polnareff was a talented figure, an individual, and his music always had complex composition that was distinctively his. The melody always stood out and caught my ear. I always found it amusing and whimsical. I play this song every now and then and whenever I do I'm always in a good mood again.
