Hardcore Lounge: Grass Labyrinth

I want to share some of my favorite films from the directors I admire.

We'll begin with Shuji Terayama's Grass Labyrinth, which is truly bizarre yet beautiful and expressive. From the beginning sequence it sucks you into a strange world and you find it impossible to tear yourself away from watching it, although the plot feels like, well, a labyrinth. Visually, I find it one of the most striking films. Terayama is like Japan's Buñuel.

I love the usage of heavy rock in the film. Such an obscure gem.
