Return

I was out of the country for the last two months. While I was pleased spending time in homeland working so much and making new friends, I think I got a bit lost. Before I left, I'd painted an identity of myself as an individual--what I like and dislike, my personality, my tendencies, strengths and weaknesses...stuff that made me me. But in a new setting with different culture and colleagues, I faded away. My first reaction was confusion, then disappointment. Now I'm back, hopefully I can build something more solid from the inside out.
