Mason Lambskin Jacket; American Apparel Bra Top; drugstore tights
Mason Lambskin Jacket; American Apparel Bra Top; drugstore tights

Once, when my parents were angry with me for driving out late at night to see Gang Gang Dance play, they admonished me for the kind of music I listened to. "You need to mature and listen to some sensible music," they said. But even if GGD may be deemed as "unsensible," I listen to everything from The Beatles to Rainbow Arabia. I think they were just trying to find things to be upset at me about, but it was pretty stupid. Having Korean parents is so hard sometimes, because you want to share everything with them, but you can't.

I have the same problem with my parents, and I've realized, no matter what... I'll always look 10 years old to them. No matter how many wrinkles I'll have on my face (one day that is far from now).

P.S. Love the haircut!

Ah, yeah, but at least you're far far away from them right now so I bet you actually miss them! My hair's actually just tied back, it's still long! :) xo
